The Role: Client General Manager – Media & Entertainment
As a Client General Manager at arenaflex, you will serve as the primary strategic contact for our most important Media & Entertainment clients. This isn't just account management—it's relationship stewardship at the highest level. You will become an indispensable advisor, trusted consultant, and innovative problem-solver for clients who depend on flawless travel execution to deliver their products to global audiences.
Your portfolio will include prestigious clients in Production, News, Sports, Music, and Theatricals—sectors that demand round-the-clock availability, rapid response capabilities, and deep industry knowledge. You will lead a high-performing team committed to exceeding expectations and delivering travel solutions that give our clients competitive advantages in their respective fields.
What You'll Do
As the strategic leader of your client relationships, you will:
- Develop Deep Client Understanding: Possess an in-depth understanding of your clients' strategic objectives, key performance drivers, organizational culture, and long-term business goals. Become an extension of their team rather than just a service provider.
- Drive Strategic Guidance: Provide expert consultation to customers in assessing their travel program goals and strategies, optimizing performance across their organization while identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Create Entertainment-Focused Solutions: Identify the unique travel needs that exist for news, sports, film, and television production environments, developing innovative solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture partnerships with key business constituents across arenaflex, including Global Business Consulting, Client Services, Service Delivery, and Implementations teams.
- Expand Your Influence Network: Build a web of influence at key levels within client accounts and among affiliate studios working with your clients on specific productions.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Understand and support the dynamic needs of entertainment travel, staying current with industry trends, emerging requirements, and evolving best practices.
- Execute Strategic Planning: Complete comprehensive strategic account plans focused on identifying groundbreaking business opportunities that enhance and optimize the customer experience.
- Deliver Measurable Value: Create customer value, exceed expectations, strengthen relationships, drive savings, increase retention, and optimize performance through rigorous process and data analysis.
- Lead Value Proposition Enhancement: Lead the improvement of arenaflex's value proposition through consultation, technology road mapping, and optimizing online servicing solutions.
- Drive Business Planning: Lead business planning efforts, including quarterly and annual reviews, regional pricing strategies, and ongoing profitability management.
- Conduct Market Research: Research the marketplace and competitor products and services to highlight the distinctive value that sets arenaflex apart, utilizing market intelligence, benchmarking, and technology as critical value drivers.
Position Details
This position is based in the United States or Canada and operates as a virtual/remote role. However, you will be expected to maintain East Coast business hours to ensure seamless collaboration with clients and internal teams. Travel is required approximately 25-30% of the time, allowing you to build face-to-face relationships with clients, attend industry events, and participate in strategic planning sessions.

- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement growth strategies, build actionable plans, and set ambitious yet achievable goals.
