What You'll Be Doing
As a Claims Data Entry Processor at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Claims Data Entry: Accurately input information from insurance claims and authorization requests into our proprietary data management systems, ensuring complete and error-free data capture.
- Document Processing: Navigate imaging software efficiently to retrieve, review, and process claims and authorization documents in a timely manner.
- Claim Type Differentiation: Identify and differentiate between various claim types (medical, dental, vision, etc.) and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines for each.
- Special Handling Identification: Recognize specific document types that require special handling or priority processing.
- Turnaround Time Management: Enter data expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times and service level agreements.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times and quality standards.
- Workflow Support: Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims and authorizations according to established data entry guidelines.

Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Six (6) months or more of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role.
- Typing Speed: Must be able to demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 8,200 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Technical Skills: Strong data entry and typing skills with the ability to navigate multiple software applications.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in all work performed.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare claims processing or medical billing
