Position Overview
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting community services? We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Remote Energy Services Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date digital files that support the day-to-day operations of our Energy Services Programs.

Key Responsibilities
The Data Entry Clerk will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our Energy Services Programs. Below is a detailed breakdown of the essential duties:
Data Management and Entry
- Input and maintain updated client status records in the Statewide Client Service Center, ensuring the production pipeline is accurately reflected in real-time
- Enter and update participant information across multiple database systems with precision and attention to detail
- Verify the accuracy of data entered and perform regular quality checks to identify and correct errors
- Generate reports from database systems as needed for program evaluation and compliance purposes
- Maintain organized digital and paper participant files in accordance with program guidelines and agency standards
Communication and Documentation
- Monitor emails and incoming communications daily, logging documents and correspondences in the Monday.com platform promptly upon receipt
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Document all communications and maintain comprehensive records of client interactions
- Assist with various clerical duties, including filing, mailings, and phone coverage as needed
System Compliance and Administration
- Follow program guidelines for the use of all required database systems, including Monday.com, CMS, CSG eConservation, HEARTWAP, LIHEAP, In Demand, and any other systems as assigned
- Ensure compliance with agency and funder requirements in all aspects of data management
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role, adhering to privacy regulations and organizational policies
- Participate in system training and stay current with updates to database platforms
Team Collaboration and Professional Development
- Collaborate with program staff to support, enhance, and promote communication and consistency in the delivery of services
- Attend all required staff meetings, supervision sessions, and contractual meetings via remote platforms
- Participate in mandatory agency training and other relevant professional development activities
- Maintain availability for remote work, responding to emails and conducting regular duties as needed during established work hours
- Perform related work as required to support the successful operation of the Energy Services Programs
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience required
- Minimum of two years of experience in Human Services or a related field
- Applicable work experience working with diverse individuals and families with low incomes is highly valued
- Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience, or additional directly related experience may be substituted for education at the discretion of the hiring manager
Essential Competencies
- Strong Data Entry Skills: Must possess exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to input data efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable learning and navigating multiple database systems and software platforms
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain organized digital and physical files, with keen attention to detail
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with clients and team members

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with Massachusetts state assistance programs or energy assistance services
