Fullstack or Backend Developer İstanbul - Remote Full-Time

We provide a modern, API-first, extensible platform with strong ecosystem and marketplace capabilities, enabling financial institutions to scale and evolve rapidly in a dynamic market. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer or Backend Developer with strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development, and prior exposure to the banking or financial services domain. You will play a key role in building and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications that power next-generation digital banking experiences. This role is fully remote and requires the ability to work effectively in an international, fast-paced product environment. What Will The Right Person Look Like? • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Backend-focused Developer. • Banking industry experience in at least one of the following areas: Credits, Accounting, Core Banking, Transfers (SWIFT, EFT, SEPA, etc.), Treasury, or Financial Analysis. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Strong proficiency in frontend fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. • Proficiency with server-side languages and frameworks such as .NET, Java, Node.js, or Python. • Familiarity with database technologies such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB. • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting. What Will You Be Doing? • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to ideate and design software solutions. • Develop client-side and server-side architecture for scalable, secure applications. • Build intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing frontend interfaces. • Develop and maintain robust databases, backend services, and APIs. • Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of applications. • Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve existing systems and functionalities. • Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure product quality. • Implement security and data protection best practices across all development layers. • Build features with a mobile-responsive design approach. • Write clear, maintainable technical documentation. • Collaborate with data teams to optimize data workflows and improve platform intelligence.
