Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented E-commerce Social Media Associate and Customer Service Support professional to contribute to our online presence and ensure exceptional customer experiences. As an E-commerce Social Media Associate at arenaflex, you will assist in executing social media strategies and collaborate with the customer service team to address customer inquiries and concerns. Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Assist in managing and curating compelling content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and emerging platforms that resonate with our audience
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages, engaging with followers by responding to comments and direct messages in a timely, personable, and brand-consistent manner
- Collaborate with the social media manager to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for campaigns, promotions, and content calendars that drive engagement and brand awareness
- Assist in scheduling and posting content using social media management tools, ensuring consistent brand voice and optimal posting times
- Monitor social media performance metrics and compile data for reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep arenaflex at the forefront of digital engagement
Customer Service Support
- Support the customer service team by promptly responding to customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns across various communication channels, including email, live chat, phone, and social media platforms
- Assist in addressing and resolving customer issues with empathy and efficiency, striving for complete customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive brand image
- Escalate complex customer inquiries to appropriate teams and ensure timely follow-up and resolution, keeping customers informed throughout the process
- Help manage customer reviews and ratings on platforms like Google, Trustpilot, and industry-specific sites, encouraging positive feedback and assisting in addressing negative comments professionally and constructively
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of arenaflex products, services, and company policies to accurately assist customers with product recommendations, troubleshooting, and order inquiries
- Document customer interactions and feedback in our CRM system to contribute to knowledge base improvements and team efficiency
Collaboration and Reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and design, to align social media efforts with overall business goals and product launches
- Share customer insights and feedback with relevant departments to contribute to product improvements, service enhancements, and identify opportunities for new accessory lines
- Assist in compiling and organizing data for regular social media and customer service reports, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training programs to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas
- Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and special initiatives with both social media and customer service deliverables
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience demonstrating relevant skills
- Prior experience or internship in social media management and customer service is highly preferred, but we welcome candidates with strong potential and a passion for learning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, empathetically, and persuasively with customers across all channels
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail to effectively manage social media content schedules, posting calendars, and customer interactions simultaneously
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and a deep understanding of their unique features, audience preferences, and best practices for engagement
- Basic knowledge of customer service principles and the ability to handle customer inquiries with patience, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes as our digital presence continues to evolve
- Creative mindset with a genuine interest in staying informed about social media trends, emerging platforms, and digital marketing innovations
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is advantageous
- Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or Later
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Shopify
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and helpdesk platforms
- Experience in the electric vehicle industry or automotive accessories is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with Tesla vehicles and the Tesla ownership experience is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet when addressing customer issues

Compensation and Benefits
arenaflex is committed to providing competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits to our team members. The estimated salary for this position ranges from $20 to $28 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated skills.

Schedule
- Full-time position
- 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday
- Day shift hours (no nights or weekends required)
- Overtime available during peak seasons and special campaigns as needed

This position is based in-person at our office in Tustin, CA 92780. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office or be willing to relocate before starting work.
