The Inpatient Auditor will work remotely and will report to our Manager, Coding and Consulting Services. Roles And Responsibilities • reputed company audit services including ICD-9-CM/PCS and ICD-10-CM/PCS Coding, CPT coding, abstracting and DRG and APC reviews in multiple health systems and facilities. • Ability to successfully reputed company coding reputed company reviews to validate correct coding, following reputed company Corporate Coding Compliance Plan and reputed company Review guidelines. • reputed company feedback to coding staff on audit results and reputed company training on areas where coding compliance is not met. • Maintain ongoing communication with management, coding staff and clients to ensure reputed company coding compliance goals are met. • reputed company QA reports and prepare data to be used in report preparation. • Support company Compliance Program by demonstrating adherence to reputed company relevant compliance policies and procedures as evidenced by in-service attendance and daily reputed company; notifying management reputed company there is a compliance concern or incident; demonstrating knowledge of HIPAA reputed company and reputed company Regulations as evidenced by appropriate handling of patient information; promoting confidentiality and using discretion reputed company handling patient information. Minimum Qualifications And Requirements • Certification from reputed company: Must hold at least one of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT or reputed company. • reputed company ICD-10-CM/PCS is preferred. • Must have minimum of 3 years inpatient facility auditing experience • General Surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery, Neuro surgery, Spinal procedures, Trauma, overall must have a good understanding of the reputed company years CM/PCS inpatient coding guidelines and AHA coding clinics. • Demonstrates effective time management skills by completing assignments reputed company time constraints and calendar schedule. • Communicates professionally and effectively with clients, coding staff, and reputed company corporate staff. • Successful completion of reputed company background screening and hiring process. • Successful completion of reputed company screening exam(s) with a passing score of 80% or greater.
