As a Student Success Coach, you'll play a vital role in helping students navigate their academic journey, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Student Success Coach to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Student Success Coach, you'll work closely with students to provide academic support, guidance, and encouragement throughout their educational program. Your success will be measured by the progress of our students, and we're confident that your passion, expertise, and commitment to student success will make a lasting impact. **Key Responsibilities** * Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience for our students. * Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their degree program, providing proactive and timely outreach to ensure their academic success. * Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach, helping them develop skills and knowledge for academic success. * Provide a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests, and offer guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. * Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize their success, including resume and career development support. * Become a certified resume reviewer to provide expert advice and guidance to students on resume writing and career development. * Serve as a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments and resources within arenaflex. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). * Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling. * Knowledge of academic policies and procedures. * Ability to learn technical skills quickly and adapt to new systems and processes. * Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner. * Strong customer support focus and attention to details. **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in a related field (e.g., education, counseling, or a related field). * Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of academic ability. * Knowledge of academic advising and student success strategies. * Experience with student information systems and other technical tools. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary range between $23 and $24 per hour. * Paid time off and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, pharmaceutical, dental, and vision benefits. * Health savings and flexible spending accounts. * 401(k) Savings Plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. * Life and Disability Insurance. * Tuition assistance. * Employee Assistance Program and other voluntary benefits. * Opportunities for professional development and certification, including becoming a Certified Professional Resume Writer through paid certification by PARWCC (Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches). **Work Environment and Culture** * Work from home in a comfortable and quiet environment. * Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals who share your passion for student success. * Enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages growth and development. * Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. **Schedule** * 8-hour shift, Monday-Thursday 8am to 7pm CDT, and Friday & Saturday 8am to 5pm CDT. * Flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs and availability. **How to Apply** If you're passionate about student success and want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
