This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team of professionals who are passionate about procurement and supply chain management. **Responsibilities** * Manage assigned requisitions and source materials or services from existing vendors whenever possible, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions. * Process orders that require manual intervention, including standing orders, blanket orders, new vendor requests, and service contracts, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. * Review purchase requisitions for compliance with budget and organizational policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed. * Identify and select potential vendors for services or supplies based on availability, price, quality, and delivery timelines, ensuring the best possible value for arenaflex. * Assist in evaluating new vendor requests and determine their suitability for approval, providing recommendations to management as needed. * Administer purchase orders from initial request through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining accurate documentation of sourcing decisions. * Utilize automated materials management systems, including electronic data interchange (EDI) and vendor portals, to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency. * Research products or services as needed using reference sources to ensure informed purchasing decisions, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. * Provide feedback and updates to stakeholders on outstanding requisitions, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the procurement process. * Maintain accurate documentation of sourcing decisions, including price, quality, and delivery timelines, to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. * Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information related to staff, patients, and the organization, adhering to arenaflex's strict confidentiality policies and procedures. **Skills and Qualifications** * Data Entry: Proficient in data entry software and systems, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. * Supply Chain: Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. * Purchase Orders: Experienced in processing purchase orders, including manual intervention and automated systems. * Outlook: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, with a focus on email management, calendar organization, and task prioritization. * PeopleSoft: Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems, with a focus on procurement and inventory management. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * 0-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with automated materials management systems, including EDI and vendor portals. * Familiarity with procurement software and systems, including PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems. * Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. * Certification in procurement or supply chain management, such as CPM or SCMP. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
