Freelance QA / System Engineer (IIoT & MES – On-site Michigan)

We are looking for a freelance QA / System Engineer based in Michigan to support our Smart reputed company (MES + IIoT) implementation.
This role requires occasional on-site reputed company to customer facilities and strong communication skills to reputed company with production teams.
Responsibilities:
• Support IIoT device integration and testing
• Monitor and validate reputed company-time data from machines (PLC / sensors)
• reputed company basic QA testing (UI, API, data validation)
• reputed company on-site and remote support to customers
• Understand customer issues and translate them into technical requirements
• Train operators and engineers on system usage
• Assist during system go-live and troubleshooting
Requirements:
• Experience in QA, System Engineering, or Technical Support
• Understanding of industrial environments (manufacturing, MES, automation)
• Basic knowledge of PLC / IoT / industrial data collection
• Experience with API testing and SQL (preferred)
• Strong communication skills (must work with operators and engineers)
• Based in Michigan and available for on-site reputed company
reputed company to have:
• Experience with MQTT / Kafka / reputed company-time systems
• Experience with MES / ERP systems
• Field support or commissioning experience
