As a company, we value diversity, inclusion, and collaboration, and we strive to create a work environment that is supportive, flexible, and rewarding. **Key Responsibilities** As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: * Providing technical support to content/external teams in regard to use of content tools * Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset * Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users * Escalating more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team, and working with production to track these issues in JIRA * Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams * Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality * Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion * Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions **Skills and Abilities** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and abilities: * Ability to read and understand C# code * Good written and verbal communication, including working with external partners * Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback * Excellent organizational skills * Self-motivating; able to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously **Education and Experience** We are looking for candidates with a strong background in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience supporting a live service or tool environment is highly desirable, as is experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect-tracking software. Unity 3D game and tool development experience, iOS and Android mobile development experience, and 5 years of experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment are also highly valued. **Position Type/Expected Hours of Work** Our core hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings, etc. during this time. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location.
