Our team is passionate about making a positive impact in the world, and we're always looking for talented individuals who share our vision. **Job Summary** As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our online community by enforcing our community guidelines, resolving conflicts, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time, remote position that requires a flexible and self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team. **Key Responsibilities** * Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules * Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, including but not limited to: + Hate speech or harassment + Spam or self-promotion + Inflammatory or divisive content * Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines * Mute users who have violated our community guidelines * Investigate reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines * Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies * Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community management and conflict resolution **Essential Qualifications** * 18 years of age or older * High School Diploma or GED * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Familiarity with Discord and community management software * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in community management or conflict resolution * Knowledge of social justice and inclusivity principles * Familiarity with online community guidelines and policies * Experience with customer service or support roles * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Familiarity with Discord and community management software * Knowledge of social justice and inclusivity principles **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
