As a Shipping and Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with all store services and products, ensuring seamless interactions, and driving sales growth. Under the supervision of the Center Owner, you will operate the point-of-sale system, copiers/printers, rental computers, and other store equipment, while also contributing to the training and mentorship of fellow Customer Service Representatives.
**What You Bring to the Table:**
* Previous customer service or sales experience in a retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into final products or services
* Ability to handle customer complaints and problems in a professional manner, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and effectively
* Multitasking skills, with the ability to simultaneously process multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and management
* Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job
* Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite, Windows operating system, and other computer hardware and software
* Dependability and flexibility, with the ability to work scheduled hours and adapt to changing circumstances
* Some supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate colleagues
* Notary Public certification may be required, depending on the specific location and responsibilities
**What We Expect of You:**
* Assist customers with shipping and packaging services, printing estimates/orders, and other services offered by the franchise owner
* Assist customers with their product and service needs in person, through email, and by phone, providing exceptional customer service and support
* Process customer sales through the point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
* Up-sell, cross-sell, and actively participate in marketing and promotional initiatives, driving sales growth and revenue
* Open and close the center, cash register, and other center systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
* Assist management in maintaining, ordering, and stocking inventory, ensuring that the center is well-stocked and ready for customers
* Maintain the center consistent with established standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues
* Interact with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS couriers, other vendors, and all store staff, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless logistics
* Sort and deposit mail in private mailboxes, ensuring timely and efficient mail processing
* Capture, complete tasks, and organize Virtual Mail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
* Finish and complete print and sign orders, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction
* Show up to work at scheduled time with no call offs, demonstrating dependability and a commitment to the team
**Physical and Safety Requirements:**
* Must be able to stand behind a sales counter for extended periods of time, with the ability to move freely and comfortably
* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, with the ability to handle heavy objects and equipment
* Must be able to communicate clearly with customers by email, by phone, and in-person, with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
* Must perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on preventing accidents and injuries
