Job Summary

arenaflex is seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist in Healthcare to join our team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences through proactive communication, empathy, and a commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls to place orders and confirm eligibility, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Research standing orders and verify contract administration, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve customer issues and answer queries related to order delivery, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards customer needs.
  • Ensure process efficiency by coordinating fertility plans and medications, streamlining workflows and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain KPI reports for internal and external clients, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Escalate complex claims to Senior Billing & Reimbursement Specialists when necessary, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards customer needs, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Experience with CRM software and handling customer inquiries is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
