**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, doctors' offices, and insurance companies. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your role will be critical in ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with our team to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide support to our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Handle incoming and outgoing calls with customers, caregivers, doctors, and other outside providers regarding customer documentation and account needs
* Review documentation for completion and insurance compliance and enter documentation into customer accounts accurately
* Thoroughly review patient accounts and records to ensure timely patient service
* Communicate with Team Supports and Management team for matters that require approval or escalation
* Utilize the Customer Service Wiki to maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products, and company information
* Make suggestions for process improvements
**Essential Functions**
* Handle multiple tasks at various stages of completion in a fast-paced environment
* Communicate clearly and calmly by phone with customers and other stakeholders
* Effectively use computer systems to maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service
* Work collaboratively with the team to resolve issues and meet customer needs
* Maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products, and company information
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks at various stages of completion
* Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone
* Previous experience requiring the ability to effectively use computer systems and maintain good records
**Education and Experience**
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
* 2+ years of experience in a customer service role (preferred)
**Work Environment and Culture**
* Full-time position with 40 hours per week
* Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm in our Mishawaka office
* Paid training program to ensure your success in the role
