We strive to provide our employees with equal opportunities for learning and self-awareness, and we're committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment. **About the Role** As a Data Analyst Intern in the Quality Control Standards and Analytics Group, you'll play a vital role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical patterns and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. You'll work closely with our team to analyze data, create reports, and make recommendations for process improvements that align with our organization's objectives, including keeping costs low, modernizing our operations, and improving compliance. **Responsibilities and Expectations** As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll be responsible for: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors. * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. * May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. **Requirements and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy. * The capacity to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present them in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences. * The ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * A working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. * The ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * The ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred. * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred. * The ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-based environment. * The ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. * The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. * The ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** As a Data Analyst Intern at arenaflex, you'll enjoy: * A competitive hourly rate of $28/hour. * Free, unlimited space available travel benefits for yourself (assessments and expenses may apply on international travel). * The opportunity to work on real-world projects and make a meaningful impact on our organization. * A dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages growth and learning. * The chance to develop your skills and expertise in data analysis, visualization, and presentation. * A comprehensive onboarding program that includes training and support to help you succeed in your role. * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data analysis and a desire to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
