**The Role**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the transformation of our DevOps tooling, practices, and culture. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading our DevOps strategy, establishing and upholding DevOps best practices, and driving the adoption of new technologies and innovations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the development of our DevOps strategy, including the design and implementation of tools, practices, and culture
* Establish and uphold DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment methodologies
* Design and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar, to provision and manage assets across cloud environments
* Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar, to ensure fast and reliable application deployment
* Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that our teams are adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements
* Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, development, and automation to enhance deployment consistency and accuracy
* Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within our DevOps environment
* Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Experience working in cloud environments, including GCP, Azure, AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
* Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, for automating asset provisioning and deployment
* Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Jenkins and CircleCI, and version control systems, like Git
* Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar
* Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Cloud Logging Services, to ensure application performance and system health
* Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices
* Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior team members, is a plus
