As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, editing, managing, and publishing GIS feature data, both in a geodatabase environment and on the cloud. You will work closely with our team of GIS experts to ensure the accuracy and quality of our data, and you will be responsible for maintaining our GIS databases and ensuring that they are up-to-date and secure. **Key Responsibilities** * Create, edit, manage, and publish GIS feature data, both in a geodatabase environment and on the cloud * Work with our team of GIS experts to ensure the accuracy and quality of our data * Maintain our GIS databases and ensure that they are up-to-date and secure * Develop and implement data entry procedures and standards to ensure consistency and accuracy * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that data is accurate and meets their needs * Troubleshoot data entry issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner * Stay up-to-date with the latest GIS software and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation **Essential Qualifications** * Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, Data Science, or a related field * 2 years of relevant work experience in GIS, or qualifying professional experience in GIS that substitutes for the education requirement * Proficiency with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online * Proficiency in creating, editing, managing, and publishing GIS feature data, both in a geodatabase environment and on the cloud * Working knowledge of geospatial analysis methods and ESRI GIS applications development * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook **Preferred Qualifications** * Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Avenza MAPublisher * Working knowledge of Arcade and/or JavaScript programming for GIS applications and API's integration * Experience with cartographic design and geospatial data visualization * Experience with data analysis and statistical software, such as R or Python **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to prioritize tasks effectively * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively * Ability to work effectively on multiple simultaneous projects with a number of internal and external stakeholders * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality * Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest GIS software and technologies, and to make recommendations for their implementation **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
