**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and other related matters.
* Processing and inputting customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
* Producing stock reports to check for product availability and ensuring that customers receive the right products at the right time.
* Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary.
* Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met and customers receive the best possible experience.
* Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices and ensuring accuracy.
* Preparing shipping and tracing information to customers as required and maintaining accurate records.
* Maintaining damage records and back-order logs to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
* Communicating customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction, to drive continuous improvement.
* Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in the administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
* Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files.
* Maintaining a current and accurate procedure manual, which details the processing requirements for each account.
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A High School diploma or equivalent.
* Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications.
* Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key.
* Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
* Ability to work in varying facility conditions.
* Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
