As a Distribution Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and other related matters. * Processing and inputting customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. * Producing stock reports to check for product availability and ensuring that customers receive the right products at the right time. * Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary. * Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met and customers receive the best possible experience. * Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices and ensuring accuracy. * Preparing shipping and tracing information to customers as required and maintaining accurate records. * Maintaining damage records and back-order logs to ensure seamless order fulfillment. * Communicating customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction, to drive continuous improvement. * Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in the administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes. * Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files. * Maintaining a current and accurate procedure manual, which details the processing requirements for each account. **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A High School diploma or equivalent. * Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications. * Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key. * Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences. * Ability to work in varying facility conditions. * Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: * Previous experience in a customer service or distribution role. * Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes. * Certification in customer service or a related field. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to maintain accurate records and files. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
