**Airport Customer Service (ACS) Co-op Role**
The Airport Customer Service Co-op is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various departments, including Above Wing (AW), Below Wing (BW), and Airport Coordination Center (ACC). As a Co-op, you will be assigned to work on a larger project that will be presented to Hub Leadership at the end of the semester, providing you with a chance to showcase your skills and creativity.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with a specific Delta team and work with multiple departments within the hub to drive operational performance
* Assist in incident analysis reports and injury prevention group sessions
* Attend station safety meetings and participate in employee recognition events
* Engage in customer-facing functions, including ticket counter, gate areas, and baggage service office
* Work on a larger project that will be presented to Hub Leadership at the end of the semester
* Develop skills in data collection and analysis, problem-solving, and communication
**What You Need to Succeed**
To be a successful Airport Customer Service Co-op, you must:
* Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an aviation management discipline during the duration of the Co-op
* Have a competitive GPA and good academic standing with your university
* Aspire to work in the field of Aviation or Airline Management
* Demonstrate competency in skills such as data collection and analysis, reading and summarizing new regulations, and problem-solving
* Have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet
* Possess excellent communication skills, be able to process complicated issues quickly, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
* Be able to acquire a SIDA badge for SLC, including a U.S. Customs seal and SLC driving endorsement, and pass Delta's Physical Agility Test (PAT) to complete essential physical ramp functions
* Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
* Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
* Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
* Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States

* Example: SPRING – working, SUMMER – school, FALL – working, SPRING – school, and SUMMER – working
* At the end of the program, you will have one full year of experience
