**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Responding to incoming claim calls and logging data into our proprietary medical bill review system
* Providing explanation of benefits, services, and claims/reimbursement procedures to medical providers, patients, and billing services
* Interfacing with providers, patients, billing services, and insurance adjusters in a professional manner
* Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and quality standards
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
* Staying up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1-2 years prior customer service experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with customer interactions and various applications
* Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service
* Ability to learn basic medical terminology
* Weekday schedule flexibility
* Career-oriented and strong technical aptitude
* Ability to work independently in a quiet and professional work environment free of distractions
* High-speed internet connection (DSL or cable modem – non-cellular – with minimum speed of 25 mbps download and 15 mbps upload)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Prior experience in a medical or insurance-related field
* Familiarity with medical billing and claims processing
* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
* Certification in customer service or a related field
