**Experienced Customer Sales Executive – Amazon Protein Business Development**

**Job Summary**
As a Customer Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing the short, mid, and long-term growth strategy for our Amazon Protein business. You'll work closely with our Protein leadership team to align sales forecasts, marketing strategies, and customer relationships. Your primary goal will be to drive sales, share, and profit growth, while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute the short, mid, and long-term growth strategy for our Amazon Protein business, in alignment with arenaflex's Digital Commerce vision
* Work closely with Protein leadership to align sales forecasts, marketing strategies, and customer relationships
* Travel to customers and support conversations/negotiations with buying teams, guiding and participating in discussions for Joint Business Planning (JBP) and long-term strategic growth
* Educate the organization on the strategic importance of e-commerce and trends/developments within this rapidly evolving channel
* Use available data and insights to provide sound merchandising/marketing/promotional/product optimization recommendations (prescriptive selling)
* Own the planning and execution of merchandising/marketing/promotional/content plans, crafted in close collaboration with brand/season, digital, shopper marketing, and sales teams
* Co-own relationships with content development/creative agencies, ensuring creative content is optimized, impactful, and compliant with brand messaging
* Own relationships with catalog, data, and media agencies specific to Amazon, partnering together to set strategic objectives, create action plans, and monitor progress
* Establish business reporting/KPIs to ensure progress against objectives and communicate back to the organization
* Operate as an operational evangelist for assigned accounts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure catalog accuracy, in-stock/forecasting reliability, new product setup, and sales planning
* Collaborate closely with IS, Digital Marketing, Insights, and Shopper Marketing teams to leverage insights and digital expertise to execute current year plans and build capabilities to advise and evolve customer relationships
* Own the e-commerce P&L for assigned portfolio (currently Amazon.com, 3P, Prime Pantry, Amazon Fresh/Prime Now, Amazon Business, Amazon Go, Amazon Grocery, Fresh Pick Up, Whole Foods)
**Requirements**
* 5+ years of experience managing a P&L or Digital Commerce business, preferably in the CPG industry
* Previous sales experience with direct management of a customer/retailer relationship, Amazon experience preferred but open to translatable experience
* Demonstrated P&L management with strong business judgment and decision-making skills, ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high-impact initiatives
* Experience directly managing customers, including strengths in advising and negotiating
* Strong ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
* Excellent management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities while generating positive relationships
* Proven leadership skills
* Strong knowledge and experience managing Digital customers, media, and creative development, SEO, and e-commerce merchandising, preferred but open to translatable experience
* Proven ability to translate insights into sound merchandising/marketing/promotional/product optimization recommendations (prescriptive selling)
* Superb communication skills, including strong oral and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels
* Aptitude for problem-solving/quick learning
* Positive attitude and high level of energy
**Preferred Qualifications**
* MBA or equivalent
* Experience in the food industry, preferably in the protein segment
* Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics
* Experience with data analysis and insights-driven decision-making
* Strong relationships with Amazon and other e-commerce platforms
