Our team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems, including check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers. You'll play a critical role in resolving customer inquiries, addressing issues, and providing top-notch support to our members. **Key responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Completing daily tasks related to check processing, object processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers * Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve, and other institutions * Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Working member cases/assignments and following up on outstanding issues * Maintaining compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws * Processing mortgage payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff transactions * Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching * Completing daily balancing and department closing * Obtaining information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests * Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information * Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers * Understanding and staying up-to-date on outgoing and incoming budget transfer regulations * Depositing check returns, reviewing member check returns on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees **What you'll need for success** To excel in this role, you'll need: * A high school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience * Previous customer/member service experience * Previous banking or Credit Union experience * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience * Strong skills in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines **What you'll get** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Travel Perks: With arenaflex, you'll have access to over 6,800 daily flights across our global network, allowing you to explore new destinations and experience the world. * Health Benefits: From day one, you'll have access to comprehensive health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits, as well as digital health visits, flexible spending accounts, and more. * Wellness Programs: We're committed to helping you be your best self, with a range of wellness programs and resources to support your physical and mental well-being. * 401(k) Program: Available upon hire, our 401(k) program offers company contributions and a range of investment options to help you plan for your future. * Additional Benefits: Enjoy a range of additional benefits, including our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more. **Inclusion and diversity at arenaflex** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a dynamic and inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.
