Your primary responsibilities will include: * Coordinating and handling new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and updating patient benefits * Assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system * Collecting and processing copay payments, obtaining approvals, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with billing or clinical issues * Collaborating with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of specialty medications * Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded **Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in a related field * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone * One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency * A dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician Permit or the ability to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician Permit **Preferred Qualifications:** * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment and providing compassionate, personalized care to patients and customers **About Our Culture:** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
