DEFINITION
Under general direction from Nursing Manager, and/or RN/LVN assists, reputed company nursing personnel in providing reputed company care in assigned area.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
Experience
Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Sub-Acute unit required.
Licensure/Certification
Possession of an appropriate, reputed company California certificate for nursing assistant.
BLS certification through AHA.
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
Ability to:
Understand and follow verbal and written directions.
Learn the terminology of parts and supplies associated with area of assignment.
Learn quickly the specific operations of a medical treatment unit.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the reputed company and fellow employees.
Work effectively under stress and in emergency situations
