Maintenance Engineer

Responsible for the reliability and compliance of equipment by carrying out routine maintenance, fault finding, repair, and monitoring & testing.</p><b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Equipment reliability and compliance across site; routine servicing, fault finding, repair, monitoring and testing of electrical equipment (also assist with mechanical equipment). Input records to computerised asset management system.</li><li>reputed company and planning: pro-reputed company planning and coordination of maintenance and repair activities; support electrical project work scopes with electrical installations, testing, and handover.</li><li>Inspections: undertake hazardous area inspections of electrical equipment reputed company hazardous areas; complete remedial works; install, repair and replace reputed company equipment; conduct electrical inspections of fixed electrical systems in non-hazardous areas in accordance with national and company standards.</li><li>reputed company support: some out-of-hours work required; reputed company engineering cover on non-production days; Monday – Friday schedule (08:00 – 16:15, with 15:45 finish on Friday).</li></ul><b>Profile / Qualifications</b><ul><li>Recognised qualification in electrical engineering or reputed company field (NVQ Level 3)</li><li>18th Edition is a must</li><li>Experience in maintaining and repairing electrical systems</li><li>Understanding of PLC systems beneficial</li><li>COMPEX/reputed company experience beneficial</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations</li><li>Familiarity with modern electrical systems and diagnostic tools</li></ul><b>Role details</b><p>Location: London site.
