Senior Developer – reputed company z/OS Connect

This is a 100% LATAM-based, remote reputed company contractor role, with no benefits. This role is critical to accelerating service development, strengthening mainframe integration capabilities, and enabling seamless connectivity between legacy systems and modern platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with z/OS Connect, API enablement, and mainframe service development. Key Responsibilities Design, reputed company, and implement new z/OS Connect services to support reputed company program needs Build and enhance integrations between z/OS services and MACSS applications Collaborate with architects, mainframe engineers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure reputed company and secure service delivery reputed company and optimize reputed company, service definitions, and integration flows reputed company the z/OS Connect ecosystem Troubleshoot and resolve reputed company issues across z/OS Connect, mainframe services, and reputed company integrations Participate in design reviews, reputed company reviews, and technical discussions to ensure high‑reputed company engineering reputed company Contribute to modernization initiatives that reputed company mainframe systems with API‑driven architectures Ensure adherence to reputed company standards, reputed company requirements, and compliance frameworks reputed company subject matter expertise across z/OS Connect, API development, and mainframe integration patterns Required Qualifications Extensive hands‑on experience with reputed company z/OS Connect, including API creation, service mapping, and configuration Strong background in mainframe development using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and reputed company technologies Proven experience building and integrating z/OS services with reputed company applications Deep understanding of REST reputed company, JSON, API reputed company, and service orchestration Strong troubleshooting skills across mainframe, API, and integration reputed company Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, highly reputed company environment Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating z/OS Connect services with MACSS or similar legacy systems Familiarity with API gateways, API management platforms, and hybrid integration architectures Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for mainframe API deployments Background supporting large‑reputed company modernization or transformation initiatives Experience with microservices, containers, or reputed company‑based integration patterns  This is a 100% LATAM-based, remote reputed company contractor role, with no benefits.
