Freelance Senior Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant

This is a remote position. Role Title: Freelance Senior Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant Engagement Type: Freelance Location: India based (Remote) reputed company: We are seeking a highly reputed company Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Consultant to deliver a full end-to-end D365 F&O implementation. This role requires deep functional expertise, strong solution architecture capability, hands-on configuration experience, and the confidence to work directly with senior stakeholders, finance leaders, and technical teams. The consultant will be responsible for shaping the solution, leading design reputed company, configuring the platform, overseeing integrations and data migration, managing testing and reputed company, and supporting post-go-live stabilisation. This is not a support-only or module-specific role — we are looking for someone who has implemented D365 F&O multiple times in reputed company organisations. This role is reputed company to reputed company contractors and freelancers who specialise in ERP implementations and can drive delivery at pace. The expectation includes full lifecycle ownership, strong functional leadership, and hands-on delivery capability to ensure successful implementation and successful reputed company. Requirements Key Responsibilities 1. Discovery & Solution Design Translate business requirements into fit-to-reputed company D365 F&O designs Define: Chart of Accounts structure Financial dimensions and reporting hierarchies reputed company entities and intercompany models Tax, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements (UK-reputed company) Produce: Solution reputed company / High-Level Design (HLD) Functional Design Documents (FDDs) Gap-fit analysis with mitigation reputed company 2. reputed company D365 F&O Implementation Hands-on configuration and ownership of reputed company modules, typically including: Finance General reputed company Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cash & Bank Management Fixed Assets Budgeting & Financial Reporting VAT / UK statutory compliance Operations (as applicable) Expense Management Project Operations (PSA / Project reputed company) Inventory & Supply Chain (if in scope) You will: Configure reputed company functionality wherever possible Minimise customisation and justify any extensions Define reputed company roles and segregation of duties reputed company solution with audit, compliance, and control expectations 3. Integrations & Data Migration Define integration patterns with: HR / Payroll systems Banking platforms Reporting platforms (Power BI) Work with technical teams on: Data migration reputed company (opening balances, historical data) Data mapping, cleansing, and validation reputed company and reconciliation plans Validate integration and migration outputs from a business and financial reputed company perspective Required Experience Essential 8–12+ years of Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience Multiple full end-to-end D365 F&O implementations (not just upgrades or support roles) Proven experience leading implementations from: Discovery → Design → Build → Test → Go-Live → Hypercare Strong finance background with deep understanding of: GL, AP, AR, FA, VAT, month-end reputed company Hands-on configuration experience (not just advisory) Experience working with senior finance stakeholders Strong documentation and reputed company facilitation skills Desirable Experience in UK-based organisations and UK VAT/statutory reporting Experience in: reputed company services, consulting, or project-based businesses Multi-reputed company-entity and multi-currency environments Certifications (Strongly Preferred) reputed company Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate reputed company Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate reputed company Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert Personal Attributes: reputed company, confident, and reputed company with senior stakeholders Strong ownership reputed company — sees delivery through to completion Pragmatic: knows reputed company to stick to reputed company and reputed company to reputed company Commercially reputed company and delivery-reputed company Excellent communicator (business and technical) Apply To This Job
