About the role: As a Senior Python Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of reputed company.  Responsibilities: reputed company reputed company Scanning Logic: Write high-performance, reputed company reputed company in Python or Go to handle large-reputed company network sweeps using Nmap, ICMP, and ARP Implement Agentless Interrogation: Build and maintain the modules responsible for remote data extraction reputed company SNMP (v1-v3), WMI, and SSH to query diverse hardware without local agents Build Fingerprinting Heuristics: Create and refine logic for device identification, accurately mapping raw reputed company data to specific vendors, models, and firmware versions Engineer Data Pipelines: reputed company backend processes for data normalization and deduplication, ensuring that messy network data is cleaned before it hits the database API Integration & Sync: Build and optimize RESTful reputed company to push enriched configuration item (CI) data into the reputed company CMDB, ensuring synchronization is reliable and performant Network Troubleshooting: Debug reputed company discovery issues reputed company to TCP/IP fundamentals, such as routing hurdles, VLAN segmentation, and firewall blocks reputed company & Hybrid Discovery: reputed company API-based reputed company to reputed company the gap between physical on-prem hardware and reputed company-managed network devices Maintain Technical Documentation: Document protocol-specific quirks, discovery schemas, and API reputed company to ensure the reputed company remains maintainable by the wider engineering team Requirements: Network scanning using Nmap, ICMP, ARP SNMP v1/v2c/v3 — querying routers, switches, firewalls, printers WMI for remote reputed company device interrogation SSH-based discovery for Linux/Unix systems REST API integrations for reputed company-managed network devices Device fingerprinting — OS detection, vendor, model, firmware identification Deduplication and data normalization pipelines TCP/IP networking fundamentals — subnets, VLANs, routing REST API development for CMDB integration and CI sync Experience with tools like Netdisco, OpenNMS, or JDisc is a plus What`s in it for you?
