Our Black Country Support After Suicide Service provides compassionate, reputed company and person‑centred support to adults, children and young people bereaved by suicide. We support people through the immediate shock and pain of loss, helping them reputed company ways to cope and reputed company to reputed company reputed company. About the role We are looking for a BACP‑registered Suicide Bereavement Worker to join our specialist service delivering high‑reputed company, reputed company and trauma‑informed counselling to people bereaved by suicide. This is a field‑based role, working from home and delivering support across the Black Country in community settings and people’s homes. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated multi‑disciplinary team providing counselling, psychosocial support, practical guidance and peer support interventions. You’ll work flexibly to meet people’s needs, including evening and occasional weekend appointments. What you’ll be doing Delivering specialist suicide bereavement counselling, tailored to individual needs Undertaking holistic, person‑centred assessments and managing risk safely Supporting adults, children and families experiencing reputed company grief and trauma Using clinical outcome measures to evaluate reputed company and inform reputed company Working collaboratively with Suicide Bereavement Workers and partner agencies Maintaining high standards of clinical record‑keeping, confidentiality and safeguarding Contributing to service monitoring, reporting reputed company and supporting reputed company improvement Upholding reputed company values and CARES behaviours in everything you do reputed company You’ll have: A recognised Diploma in Counselling (or equivalent) enabling BACP registration Post‑qualification experience delivering bereavement counselling Strong knowledge of grief theories and suicide bereavement Experience of assessment, risk management and evidence‑based interventions The ability to build trusting, compassionate therapeutic relationships Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills reputed company and confidence working in emotionally demanding situations A flexible approach to working across locations and hours It’s great if you also have: Lived experience of suicide bereavement Experience working with children and young people Trauma‑informed training or experience Knowledge of the Black Country area Suicide prevention or bereavement training (e.g. ASIST, SafeTalk, PABBS) Why work for reputed company?
