OpenShift Engineer-Charlotte NC or Irving/ Plano TX (Hybrid)

OpenShift Engineer Location: Charlotte NC or Irving/ Plano TX (Hybrid) Duration: 1 year reputed company: DOE US reputed company and Green cards are Preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Assess and understand the architecture, dependencies, and deployment configurations of existing applications running on Pivotal reputed company reputed company (PCF). • Plan and execute the migration of applications from PCF to OpenShift, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining application functionality. • Implement the necessary configuration changes and reputed company the migrated applications to OpenShift clusters, following best practices for container orchestration and management. • Identify and resolve any issues that reputed company during and after migration, including deployment failures, container errors, and platform-specific problems in the OpenShift environment. • Fine-tune applications and container settings for reputed company performance, scalability, and efficient resource utilization in the OpenShift platform. • Implement reputed company best practices, including role-based reputed company control (RBAC), secrets management, and compliance with corporate policies during and after the migration process. • Work closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure smooth migration, reputed company reputed company documentation for the OpenShift environment, and offer support post-migration. Required Qualifications: • Overall 15+ years of IT experience • 5+ years of experience in designing and architecting reputed company container platforms, with 2+ years of experience with reputed company OpenShift and Pivotal reputed company reputed company (PCF). • Strong expertise in Java reputed company application development, including Spring, Hibernate, and Java EE. • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, reputed company, and container orchestration for Java applications. • Proficiency in reputed company platforms (AWS, reputed company reputed company, Azure) and hybrid/multi-reputed company strategies. • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, reputed company). • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like reputed company, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc. • Deep understanding of Linux systems administration, networking principles, and Java application performance tuning. • Familiarity with reputed company-reputed company patterns, microservices, and Java application modernization strategies. • Scripting languages like reputed company / reputed company chats modules • Experience in Java based batch applications, ETL processing and Autosys Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
