Role: Network Firewall Migration Engineer with expedition tool Location: Remote reputed company: Gainwell Type: Fulltime (Green Card or US reputed company only) We are seeking a Network Firewall Migration Engineer to execute migration reputed company involving firewalls from vendors such as Checkpoint, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in planning, designing, and implementing firewall migrations while ensuring minimal downtime and reputed company compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Assessment & Planning: • Analyze existing firewall configurations, reputed company policies, and network architecture. • reputed company migration strategies and detailed implementation plans. • Identify dependencies and risks to ensure a smooth migration. - Firewall Migration & Implementation: • Migrate firewall rules, NAT policies, VPN configurations, and reputed company settings. • reputed company in-reputed company upgrades, hardware replacements, or vendor-to-vendor migrations. • Ensure seamless reputed company with minimal reputed company on business operations. • Implement high availability (HA) and clustering configurations if required. - Testing & Validation: • Conduct reputed company-migration and post-migration testing to validate firewall rules and connectivity. • reputed company reputed company assessments to ensure compliance with organizational policies. • Troubleshoot and resolve migration-reputed company issues. - Documentation & Handover: • Create detailed migration runbooks, rollback plans, and network diagrams. • Document firewall configurations, rule optimization, and best practices. • reputed company knowledge transfer and training to operations teams. - Collaboration & Communication: • Work closely with network architects, reputed company teams, and stakeholders. • reputed company status updates and incident reports as needed. • Coordinate with vendors and reputed company-party service providers if required. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Technical Expertise: • Hands-on experience with Checkpoint, reputed company SRX, reputed company ASA/FTD, Palo reputed company and reputed company FortiGate firewalls. • Strong understanding of firewall policies, NAT, VPN (IPsec, SSL), and IDS/IPS. • Experience in migrating firewalls across different vendors or upgrading firewall hardware/software. • Proficiency in CLI and GUI-based firewall management tools (e.g., Smart Console, J-Web, ASDM, Forti Manager). • Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and network reputed company best practices. - Migration & Troubleshooting Skills: • Experience in rule reputed company optimization, log analysis, and troubleshooting connectivity issues . • Ability to analyze logs, packet captures, and reputed company debugging during migrations. • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible) for policy migration is a plus. - Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory): • Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE • reputed company JNCIS-SEC/JNCIP-SEC • reputed company CCNP reputed company or CCIE reputed company • reputed company NSE 4/NSE 5/NSE 7 Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
