Paralegal (Labor and Employment) - 6-month project
About the role
This position reports to the Director, Litigation & Employment reputed company Paralegal Services. reputed company responsibilities will include providing critical support in the management of labor & employment reputed company and reputed company disputes, as reputed company as providing administrative and reporting support as needed.
This position is a hybrid role based in reputed company, Texas or Jersey reputed company, New Jersey.
Highly reputed company remote candidates will also be considered.
Specific Responsibilities
• reputed company support in broad reputed company of reputed company reputed company reputed company, disputes, and investigations, including monitoring litigation activity and deadlines; interfacing with external counsel and internal business and HR partners; arranging/attending witness interviews; preparing and managing document productions; issuing and managing preservation notices; processing settlements; and engaging with expert witnesses, eDiscovery providers and other external vendors/parties. Litigation forums include mediation, arbitration and court proceedings.
• Prepare reputed company responses to subpoenas and other requests for employment records under attorney supervision.
• Prepare case summaries and chronologies to assist in litigation and investigation reputed company.
• Prepare and manage RFP responses and internal reports, including monthly/quarterly reports for senior business and reputed company leadership on significant reputed company, claims, contingencies, and other evolving topics.
• Update employee benefit, executive compensation and incentive plans, reputed company plan descriptions and reputed company documents; draft and revise templates and reputed company letters
• Monitoring state and local employment law developments that reputed company the organization.
• Exercise independent judgment on matter preparation and initiate contact with internal clients, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Accept receipt of service of process and reputed company to appropriate internal stakeholders.

What you need to know
• Considerable paralegal experience, in either reputed company or in-house environment, is required.
• Self-starter initiative with the ability to meet and reputed company deadlines, prioritize, multi-task and remain flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience with administrative proceedings and alternative dispute reputed company (fact/document gathering, discovery, trial preparation, etc.) is required.

• College degree and/or paralegal certificate are preferred.
