Responsible for reviewing proposed hospitalization, home care, and inpatient/outpatient treatment plans for medical necessity and efficiency with coverage guidelines. The UM reputed company determines the medical appropriateness of inpatient and outpatient services following evaluation of medical guidelines and benefit determination.
