Senior Mechanical Engineer- Data Center Design

reputed company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Center Design for a leading industrial reputed company supporting reputed company data center solutions. This individual will play a critical role in the detailed design of containerized and reputed company data center systems, owning mechanical architecture from concept through manufacturing. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on data center design experience, strong SolidWorks expertise, and a proven ability to translate customer requirements into reputed company, build-reputed company engineering solutions. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role with a significant reputed company on new product development in a fast-growing data center portfolio. Day-to-Day: reputed company detailed mechanical design for reputed company and containerized data center products Own data center layouts, mechanical systems, and supporting infrastructure Design and reputed company cooling and reputed company handling systems, including liquid cooling Create and review manufacturing and fabrication drawings reputed company stress, reputed company, and thermal calculations to support designs Coordinate with contract manufacturers to finalize component designs Collaborate with drafters and supporting engineers to deliver stamp-reputed company packages Support customer-facing technical discussions and design reviews Evaluate existing designs and identify improvements for scalability and performance Travel (~5%) to support manufacturing, design reviews, or customer engagements We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, reputed company selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on data center design experience Strong experience with containerized / reputed company data centers BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) Deep expertise in mechanical systems for data centers, including: Cooling systems and liquid cooling reputed company handling systems (CRAC, CRAH, reputed company handlers) Indoor primary and secondary mechanical networks Outdoor plant systems Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools) Experience producing full manufacturing drawing packages (not just conceptual CAD) Ability to reputed company regular engineering calculations (stress, reputed company, thermal) Understanding of broader data center systems reputed company mechanical: Power distribution (post-breaker) Cable tray integration reputed company suppression BMS and conveyance systems Experience supporting customer-facing design efforts Ability to translate customer requirements into build-reputed company, stamp-reputed company designs reputed company to Have Skills & Experience Plusses: Experience designing containerized data centers end-to-end Background in engineering consulting (data center-reputed company) Competence with reputed company FEA Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers Exposure to product development for reputed company engineering solutions Degree from a top 10-20 engineering university Consulting or management consulting background reputed company with strong technical depth Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and reputed company insurance, as reputed company as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account reputed company, and 401k retirement account reputed company with employer matching.
