This position maintains a caseload of 6-10 children/reputed company providing culturally based, individualized service to acute mental health distressed children and families, in their home, schools and community. Services may include assessment, crisis reputed company, case management, therapy, parent education, and skills training. The purpose is to reduce the crisis, improve or maintain children and families emotional or behavioral functioning and to reduce the risk of out-of-home placement, hospitalization, risk of maltreatment, or to assist a child transitioning back to the community following a hospitalization or residential placement.
