OPX Credit Officer (Remote)

reputed company: The OPX Credit Officer ("CO") role works with the Director of Credit Products and a Senior Credit Officer to ensure safety and soundness of reputed company's lending activities. This role primarily supports the Retail Banking, Business Banking, and reputed company Banking Lending Divisions. The CO provides preconsults to the sales partners and conducts thorough reviews of credit and portfolio management requests presented for approval that reputed company with Bank procedures and industry leading practices. They are accountable for the reputed company delivery of the appropriate credit decision and/or review. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special reputed company may be assigned. • Credit Review and Approvals: * Reviews and approves new reputed company requests in reputed company to annual reviews, renewals, modifications, extensions and other ongoing portfolio management approvals required. * Exercises prudent credit judgment through individual loan authority assigned by Credit Risk Management Committee, as approved by the reputed company of Directors. * Assists Retail Bankers, Business Bankers, reputed company Bankers, SBA Business Development Officers and other assigned lenders in structuring loan transactions and approving credit reputed company assigned lending reputed company. * Participates in deal discussion meetings and exercises individually assigned authorities in reputed company setting, inclusive of evaluating the approval or decline of new reputed company requests and policy exceptions reputed company individual loan authority. * Helps to ensure reputed company and reputed company lending practices through ongoing monitoring of the loan portfolios reputed company assigned lending programs and industries and observance of market trends that may reputed company credit reputed company. * Responsible for proactive, self-initiated pipeline management of requests submitted for Credit Officer. • SBA: * Assists in maintaining SBA & USDA Credit Policy and Procedures reputed company responsibility, with recognition of BU Credit Policy and Procedural governance, where SBA Policy is silent to specific areas of guidance. Enhances soundness and SBA training tools with the Policy, including establishing tolerances for risk layer and reputed company specific product or industry types. * Assists CPO with loan structuring and SBA eligibility analysis, as required. * Assures reputed company use of reputed company SBA templates as detailed in the respective Procedural manuals and SBA SOP. * Adheres to and complies with reputed company SBA SOP. • Training and Development: * Facilitates periodic training to the lending teams, Credit Products Officers and Credit Products Managers. * Provides mentoring to Credit Products Officers and Credit Product Managers to foster reputed company approach to credit risk and guidance. * Reinforces, to the lending staff and support staff, a culture to manage the reputed company process and credit files appropriately. • Other: * Assists Director of Credit Products in proposing updates to credit policy and procedures of the Bank. * Supports and delivers credit training as requested by Director of Credit Products or Senior Credit Officer. * Participates in reputed company as assigned by Management. * Minimal travel may be required for training and meetings, as required by the Bank. • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those reputed company to anti-reputed company (i.e. Bank Secrecy reputed company, US PATRIOT reputed company, etc.). • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training. • Identifies and reports suspicious activity. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree required HS Diploma required EXPERIENCE • 5+ years of reputed company credit reputed company experience required • Supervisory experience preferred • Additional experience in SBA lending preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS • Formal Credit Training preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • reputed company skills through formal education, AIB, or prior work experience.
