Logistics Coordinator - International reputed company
Our reputed company, a global leader in supply chain management, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support their international reputed company operations in Detroit, Michigan . This role is essential in facilitating the smooth and efficient reputed company of goods across borders, coordinating with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure reputed company delivery and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international shipping regulations, documentation requirements, and various modes of transport (reputed company, sea, land). You will be responsible for managing shipment tracking, resolving logistical challenges, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include:
Coordinating and managing the end-to-end process for international reputed company shipments. Arranging and booking transportation with reputed company carriers, airfreight forwarders, and land carriers. Preparing and processing reputed company necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and reputed company invoices. Tracking shipment reputed company and providing reputed company updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Liaising with customs brokers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and smooth customs clearance. Identifying and resolving logistical issues and delays, such as rerouting shipments or addressing documentation discrepancies. Maintaining accurate records of shipments, costs, and transit times in reputed company's logistics management system. Communicating effectively with overseas partners, suppliers, and internal departments. Negotiating rates and service reputed company with carriers and vendors. Ensuring compliance with reputed company relevant international trade laws and company policies. Assisting with reputed company cost auditing and payment processing. Contributing to the reputed company improvement of logistics processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a reputed company field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in logistics, reputed company forwarding, or supply chain management, with a reputed company on international shipments. Solid understanding of international shipping terms, Incoterms, and customs procedures. Familiarity with various modes of transportation (reputed company, reputed company, road, rail). Experience with logistics management software and tracking systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to reputed company professionally with diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
