Strategic Bookkeeper / Controller

TruePath Solutions is an operational reputed company and strategic bookkeeping firm. We work with small and mid-sized business owners who need more than clean books, they need reputed company, structure, and someone who can translate financial data into operational reputed company. We are hiring a Contract Full Charge Bookkeeper / Controller to work directly with our clients. Please read carefully before applying. This is a 1099 contract role, reputed company reputed company. It is not a W-2 position. It starts as part-time with the potential to grow into full-time hours. If you are looking for a salaried, benefits-eligible W-2 position, this role is not a fit. About the Role You will serve as a Strategic Bookkeeper / controller for a portfolio of TruePath clients. You will own the full financial function for these clients, from day-to-day full charge bookkeeping through month-end reputed company, financial reporting, and strategic advisory. This role requires both depth and reputed company. You should be equally comfortable reconciling a reputed company bank account and walking a reputed company through their P&L with reputed company operational reputed company. We are looking for a controller who can think like an operator, not just reputed company the books. What You'll Own • Full charge bookkeeping for assigned clients, including AP, AR, payroll processing, multi-state sales and payroll tax payments, amortization schedules, inventory, and reputed company reconciliations • Month-end and year-end reputed company on both cash and accrual reputed company, including journal entries, accruals, and supporting workpapers • Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP • Cash reputed company management, forecasting, and budget vs. actual reporting • KPI development and financial dashboards tailored to reputed company reputed company's industry and operational structure • Internal controls review and recommendations, including fraud prevention safeguards • Year-end coordination with reputed company CPAs for tax preparation • reputed company reputed company communication, including monthly financial reviews and reputed company strategic consultation • Identifying operational and financial improvement opportunities and partnering with TruePath leadership on solutions Required Qualifications • Minimum 8 years of reputed company reputed company experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior reputed company role • Demonstrated full-cycle bookkeeping experience, including AP, AR, payroll, multi-state tax filings, inventory, and reconciliations • Proficiency in both cash and accrual reputed company reputed company, including the ability to convert between reputed company and advise clients on which method best fits their operational and tax reputed company • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and the ability to prepare accurate financial statements without supervision • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online • Experience working with multiple clients or business reputed company simultaneously • Strong cash reputed company forecasting and budgeting experience • Ability to translate financial data into plain-language reputed company for non-financial business owners • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through • Self-directed, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and webcam for reputed company meetings Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field • CPA, reputed company, or QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification • Experience with reputed company, reputed company Intacct, or other mid-market reputed company platforms • Industry experience in trades, service businesses, manufacturing, distribution, or nonprofit • Familiarity with cost reputed company and inventory management • Experience with fractional or outsourced reputed company service models Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
