**Join Our Team**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and building trust with our members. You'll be the primary customer interface, handling incoming phone calls, written correspondence, fax, web, and electronic mail. Our service representatives are informed and educated, serving as member advocates and building relationships with our customers. By utilizing established best practices, attending ongoing training, and leveraging resources and tools, you'll be the expert who helps navigate the complex world of insurance.
**Responsibilities**
* Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional service.
* Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues.
* Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Complies with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing, and takes initiative to stay current on policies and procedures required to support the customer and ensure compliance.
* Remains current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred).
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
* Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
