As a licensed Masters Social Worker, you'll work collaboratively with registered nurses to assess, plan, and advocate for our members' benefit plans and health needs. Your responsibilities will include researching available options and resources for members with financial, transportation, safety, and housing needs. You'll work with a diverse population across the entire lifecycle, and all member contact will be done telephonically or via electronic exchange. **Key Responsibilities** * Partner with registered nurses to utilize a collaborative process of assessment, planning, and advocacy to meet a member's benefit plan and/or health needs * Research available options and resources for members with financial, transportation, safety, and housing needs * Empower members to make positive lifestyle and medical choices * Work as a team with other clinical staff to assist members with community resources for medical, financial, and behavioral health * Conduct telephonic or electronic exchanges with members to assess their needs and develop plans to meet those needs * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our members **Essential Qualifications** * Active and unrestricted LSW (Licensed Social Worker), LMSW (Licensed Masters Social Worker), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker) in the state of residence * 2+ years of experience in medical social work or case management * Masters Degree in Social Work **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with diverse populations across the entire lifecycle * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong assessment and planning skills * Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software **Skills and Competencies** * Strong assessment and planning skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks * Strong knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
