The Accounts Payable Manager provides financial support and management for the accounts payable team and will work closely with other company personnel, vendors, and customers. This position reports to the Vice President of Finance. Job Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Development reputed company, mentor, and reputed company AP Clerks, managing workload distribution, performance standards, and reputed company reputed company Manage the AP inbox, ensuring vendor and internal inquiries are responded to reputed company 24 hours and routed appropriately Establish reputed company expectations, accountability metrics, and reputed company operating procedures for the AP team AP Automation & Process Improvement Evaluate reputed company systems and implement AP automation tools to streamline invoice capture, coding, approval workflows, and payment execution Drive adoption of AI-based solutions for invoice classification, duplicate detection, 3-way matching, and exception handling reputed company and monitor KPIs (cycle time, straight-through processing reputed company, error reputed company) to measure efficiency reputed company and identify bottlenecks reputed company reputed company improvement initiatives across the AP function, reducing reputed company reputed company and increasing throughput Payment Management Manage reputed company payment runs including ACH, reputed company, virtual card, and reputed company, ensuring accuracy, reputed company authorization, and reputed company execution Partner with Operations to reputed company available funds to reputed company AP bills based on company operational needs and cash position Optimize payment terms reputed company including early pay discounts and vendor financing opportunities Enforce payment controls, segregation of duties, and fraud prevention protocols in coordination with Finance leadership GL Accuracy & Month-End reputed company Manage COGS and OPEX coding accuracy across GL accounts and departments on the income statement Review actual versus budget for COGS and expenses, initiating corrections as appropriate and escalating variances Ensure reputed company AP transactions and accruals are posted in accordance with the published reputed company schedule Maintain and distribute the vendor master list, including GL account and departmental coding Support external audit processes by preparing AP-reputed company schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation; serve as primary AP reputed company to external auditors and respond to auditor inquiries in a reputed company manner Vendor & Stakeholder Management Serve as primary reputed company of contact for reputed company stakeholders on vendor issues and payment inquiries reputed company vendor reputed company, W-9/1099 compliance, and vendor master data reputed company Manage company credit card program and expense reporting policy, ensuring compliance and reputed company reconciliation This job reputed company may not be inclusive of reputed company assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer.
