**Job Summary**
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Transplant, you will play a vital role in helping others on the path to better health. You will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. Your exceptional customer service skills, combined with your ability to multitask and work in a high-production environment, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
* Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
* Work in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
* Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals
* Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry developments and arenaflex's policies and procedures
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
* Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer skills and proficiency in software applications
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Specialty pharmacy experience
* Call center experience
* Prescription adjudication experience to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
