**Experienced After Hours Customer Service Representative – Elderly Home Based Care and Support**

As a key member of our remote team, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to our clients and their caregivers, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

**About the Role**
As an After Hours Customer Service Representative, you'll be working in a fully remote position, based in South Africa. You'll have the flexibility to work a 3-day week, with 4-hour shifts per day, and a Saturday and Sunday shift of 12 hours per day. **Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering all incoming calls and resolving client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours
* Providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform
* Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary
* Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
* Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
* Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed
* Completing non-urgent admin projects if time allows
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* **Fluent English**: You'll be communicating with clients and caregivers in English, so fluency is essential.
* **Compassion and Confidence**: You'll be working with vulnerable individuals, so empathy and confidence are crucial.
* **Responsibility and Reliability**: You'll be working independently, so reliability and responsibility are essential.
* **10+ years' work experience in customer service and office duties**: You'll need a strong background in customer service and office administration to excel in this role.
* **Adaptability and Flexibility**: You'll be working a non-traditional schedule, so flexibility and adaptability are essential.
* **Impeccable phone and computer skills**: You'll be using our platform and software to manage client and caregiver interactions, so strong technical skills are required.
* **Staffing and/or health care experience**: Experience in staffing or healthcare is highly desirable, but not essential.
* **Experience working remotely and independently to the USA**: You'll be working with clients and caregivers in the US, so experience working remotely and independently to the US is essential.
* **Quiet and professional work-from-home environment**: You'll need a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions to excel in this role.
* **Remotely set up with Wi-Fi and load-shedding back-up**: You'll need a reliable internet connection and a plan for load-shedding to ensure continuity of service.
