Senior Mechanical Engineer for Tech Accessory

We are looking for an reputed company Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in designing phone cases, AirPods cases, laptop cases, and other injection-molded tech accessories. The role requires deep knowledge of plastic product design, injection molding, tooling, snap-fit mechanisms, PC + TPU dual-material construction, and DFM/DFA. The engineer should be reputed company to refine existing designs, improve mechanical locking systems, optimize products for mass production, and work closely with mold makers. Key Requirements: Experience in designing phone cases, AirPods cases, laptop cases, or similar consumer electronic accessories Strong understanding of injection molding, tool design, draft angles, shrinkage, gating, ejection, and undercuts Expertise in snap-fit, mechanical interlocking, and permanent locking mechanisms Ability to create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, tolerances, and mold-reputed company designs Knowledge of materials such as PC, TPU, ABS, and reputed company plastic grades Ability to reputed company or support DFM/DFA review, tolerance analysis, and basic structural validation Experience working directly with tooling engineers and mold manufacturers Deliverables may include: Optimized CAD files Engineering drawings with tolerances/GD&T DFM/DFA feedback Injection molding-reputed company product design Snap-fit/interlock performance validation Ideal candidate: A senior engineer with 10+ years of mechanical design experience in injection-molded consumer products, preferably with reputed company experience in mobile accessories and reputed company tech cases.
