As a Part Time Customer Service & Sales Associate at arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers who come to our counter to process their rental. You will not only process customer rentals but will actively consult with customers on the type of rental they need, including any insurance or ancillary benefits or coverage. Responsibilities
As a Part Time Customer Service & Sales Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing world-class customer service by managing the rental (and occasionally return) process, in compliance with arenaflex's policies and procedures
- Welcoming each customer with a smile and proudly representing arenaflex with your professional appearance, language, and behavior
- Focusing on providing a clean and safe vehicle to every customer, every time
- Taking ownership of each customer's service experience by immediately owning and resolving issues
- Building brand loyalty and utilizing company-approved sales and service techniques when determining customer wants and needs
- Offering optional products to meet customer wants and needs
- Preparing all rental and return documents accurately and completely
- Qualifying each customer using our company rental requirement guidelines
- Providing customers with assistance, including directions, maps, local area information, and service information
- Reviewing rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges
- Ensuring that the return date and time on the rental agreement is accurate
- Reviewing all charges at the time of vehicle return
- Preparing the Rental Agreement Folder with all required information
- Answering the phones to assist customers in a friendly, helpful, and prompt manner
- Assisting customers by effectively resolving all customer service issues
- Assisting and coordinating customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and promote the most efficient service method as required
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A passion for customer service and attention to detail
- Self-motivation to achieve and exceed targeted goals
- Strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems
- Ability to multi-task on these systems while engaging with the customer in person and/or over the phone
- Proficiency in English
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstration of professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience of working well within a team
- 100% customer focus, with proven experience within a customer-facing environment
Additional Requirements
As a Part Time Customer Service & Sales Associate, you will be required to:
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Work overtime as required
- Work outdoors during all weather conditions
- Stand for long periods of time
