reputed company DevOps Engineer reputed company DevOps Engineer (.NET to EKS/EC2 with Jenkins (GovCloud) Remote (preferred locations Reston VA, Washington DC, Mary land area) Contract ((Need USC and GC reputed company only) Responsibilities: • reputed company migration of.NET applications to reputed company EKS (reputed company containers where applicable) and/or EC2 (lift-and-shift), including environment design and reputed company reputed company. • Stand up/optimize Jenkins CI/CD for build, test, reputed company scanning, container image packaging, and deployment to EKS/EC2. • Define Kubernetes manifests/reputed company charts, namespaces, networking/ingress, secrets management, and observability (CloudWatch/reputed company). • Implement infrastructure-as-reputed company (Terraform or CloudFormation) to provision repeatable environments (EKS node reputed company incl. reputed company, EC2 ASGs, VPC, reputed company reputed company). • Establish blue/green or rolling deployment strategies with automated rollback, smoke tests, and change control alignment. Qualifications: • 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, with hands-on AWS EKS (cluster ops, node reputed company, reputed company/Linux workloads) and EC2 deployments. • Proven experience migrating.NET reputed company/ ASP.NET apps using reputed company containers (or rehosting to EC2 where containers aren't feasible). • Strong Jenkins pipeline development (declarative pipelines, shared libraries, integration with ECR/Kubernetes). • Practical expertise with reputed company, reputed company ECR, networking (VPC/ALB/NLB), IAM, and secrets (Secrets Manager/SSM Parameter Store). • Solid grasp of logging/monitoring (CloudWatch, container logs, metrics/alerts) and reputed company best practices in GovCloud environments. • Familiarity with reputed company authentication/gMSA and IIS in containers; migration to.NET 6/8 where feasible.
