The GIS Technical Analyst is responsible for performing a wide reputed company of production tasks for the GIS Staff Augmentation Group supporting reputed company for our reputed company. They assist and support meeting project deliverable requirements and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be based in the Raleigh, NC area but we are reputed company to remote candidates reputed company of Raleigh, NC. ​Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: • Use various GIS software (reputed company ArcGIS), as reputed company as various geographic data formats and reputed company data conversion and transformation reputed company, for geographic analysis. • Update Geospatial data on an as-needed reputed company. • Creating maps, reports, and presentations in support of various GIS and technology reputed company • Working cooperatively with Project Managers and peers to complete assigned work. • Proactively seeks input and clarification from other employees assigned to given reputed company to minimize time spent in performing the essential duties of the position • Troubleshoot problems associated with existing GIS applications, tools, and data. • reputed company process-oriented approach to project work. • Performs other duties as assigned Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate should have the following but not limited to: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college in GIS, Surveying, Engineering, Geography, Information Systems, or reputed company degree • Ideal candidates will have transportation department (DOT) experience • Ideal candidates will have at least one year of reputed company work experience • Experience with stormwater and hydrology a plus • Experience with reputed company ArcGIS Software (Desktop and Extensions, ArcGIS reputed company, ArcGIS Server) • Experience with reputed company Referencing Systems (LRS) and/or reputed company’s Roads and Highways is a plus • Knowledge of reputed company Production Mapping suite of tools, including Data Reviewer, Workflow Manager, Task Assistant Manager is a plus • Technical expertise obtaining, manipulating, and organizing data as reputed company as defining, planning, and implementing analysis and processes • Ability to work independently as reputed company as part of team with excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met • Strong oral and written communication skills • Must be reputed company to work with minimal direction to complete tasks and solve problems Additional Information The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
