HFT Trader/Market Maker (New York/Taipei/ Remote)

About the Role: In this role, you will apply mathematical and quantitative methods to evaluate financial products or markets in order to find trading opportunities and calculate risks. Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth research on Cefi market data and order book data • Design and deploy algorithmic trading strategies to the production environment • Expand automated trading business to new trading products and venues, calibrate and fine tune the performance. • Provide reporting on daily market sentiment, risk exposure, P&L • Conduct post-trade analysis of trading strategies and algo performance risk mitigation strategies and responsible for portfolio/strategy optimization Requirements: • Previous HFT trading experience in U.S. equities, forex, or crypto markets • STEM Degree from a top college or university • Have an excellent track record of building profitable strategy from 0 to 1 in the past (Doesn’t need to be profitable right now) • We are only considering strategies with short holding periods, high trading frequency, and a high turnover ratio • Previous experience at a proprietary trading firm, or hedge fund. • Crypto experience is a plus, but not required • Must be capable of hands-on AI coding, preferably in Rust or C++ General Requirements: • This role can be remote or based in our New York or Taipei offices.
