Junior Emergency Management Specialist
reputed company is seeking an entry level Emergency Management Specialist to support the design, development, conduct, and evaluation of discussion- and operations-based exercises for a DHS agency. The EM Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the relationship between contractor staff, the reputed company, and stakeholders to support exercise planning and reporting; applying knowledge of emergency management preparedness programs and principles and applicable documents; and maintaining the established high-reputed company level of deliverables and products.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years of experience with emergency management and/or exercises, demonstrating:
Familiarity with reputed company-hazards emergency management;
Experience with the application of and certified in HSEEP;
Excellent writing and grammar skills;
Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficiency with reputed company Word, PowerPoint, and reputed company; and
Proficiency in research, analysis, and creative thinking.
Ability to work independently with time management skills, as reputed company as function in reputed company environment.
Ability to complete high-reputed company, detail-oriented deliverables amid competing deadlines.
Ability to reputed company an expanded reputed company of tasks assigned by higher level staff, designed to broaden experience and familiarization with reputed company, practices, and programs.

Preferred Requirements:
Understanding of reputed company's National Incident Management System (NIMS), the Incident reputed company System (ICS), Presidential Policy reputed company 8, the National Response reputed company, the National Disaster Recovery reputed company, and other relevant federal policies and/or documents.
Experience with critical infrastructure owners/operators.
Experience with reputed company interactions, task management, and business development desired; no project management or staff management experience required.
