Freelance Contractor - Digital Media Assistant

Description *** This is a Freelance contractor position. The assignments that are projected are estimated to run through December, 2026, depending on Company objectives and goals. The opportunity is available remote but may encourage the contractor to visit the office for collaboration on a periodic basis. For more information on Bal Harbour Shops, please visit https://www.balharbourshops.com/.    Summary: The Freelance Digital Media Assistant will be responsible for assisting the digital editorial and marketing team in the preparation and execution of digital content across all Bal Harbour Media channels, such as newsletter campaigns, social media, website content, and email marketing. The individual works with the team to ensure the brand's luxury positioning is reflected across all digital touch points. The assignments require a high level of project management, multitasking and detailed orientated skill set. Typical Assignments:   Digital Content & Newsletter Support Assist in the creation and execution of digital editorial content across website, newsletter, and social channels  Prepare and populate feature  content documents, including: Copy, images, CTAs, and alt tags, etc Structured Word templates for newsletters and feature stories. Visual Asset Management Resize, organize, and format visual assets according to brand templates  Rename and maintain organized  image libraries Collaborate on creative production of elevated graphics (collages, abstract images for hero’s and other elements of newsletter when applicable Social Media Content Creation  Support ideation and development of social content aligned with editorial features  Assist in adapting content for different platforms and audiences Requirements Required Skills • Needs to be fluent in Canva, Photoshop, Adobe, and/or other content design platforms  • Holds a license on content design platforms  • WordPress experience  • Project management experience  • Must be detail oriented, creative, and collaborative  • Experienced in graphic design  If available please include your portfolio with your submission.
